The Club’s members are senior level communications practitioners, with responsibility for the information and government communications services or their governments (or EU institution).
This generally means that members are at Director-General level (or equivalent title). The single common qualification is involvement in public communication at the most senior level. The Club makes no distinction between permanent civil servants and political appointees.
In addition to this, the Club has honorary members and members emeritus.
Honorary members are former general members who now hold membership in their own right, and who serve the Club via its Steering Committee.
Members emeritus are former general members who have made exceptional contributions to the Club over a number of years.
